Meet the Baker

Hey y'all!!!! So my name is Megan, and I am an amateur baker.  I started baking for fun dabbling in gourmet cupcakes, as I took my creations to various parties and events I kept getting comment after comment about selling my cupcakes.  After taking a custom cake in to work for a birthday celebration a co-worker asked me how much I charged, and that was all it took for me to decide I should go into business!!

I will be posting pictures randomly as I bake new flavors, or decorate something that is totally awesome or unique.  I will post a list of available flavors, I am going to be on the look out for more flavors as time progresses.  I am totally flexible as far as mixing cake flavors and icing flavors, colors etcetera.

I just want to make it clear, I'm still learning and growing as a baker, so there are some techniques that haven't yet been mastered but I'm preparing to take some classes to learn all I can.  So at this point in time I'm limited to buttercream or simple fondant decorations.  I can't make flowers yet, nor have I mastered modeling chocolate or gum paste.

So, I hope y'all will give my cakes a try and get on here and comment you suggestions, concerns, or just comment in general!! Your feedback is the only thing that will help me become a better baker!!!!!
